Ice Cream and Invitations

My Grandma who lives in Arkansas came down this weekend for a visit and as always when she is here we did our fair share of shopping! We went to Hobby Lobby and I bought the supplies to make the invitations for Dagan's birthday party. We are having a cowboy theme and I am hand making all the invitations. We also went to the mall and I purchased two shirts and a dress to take to Vegas in June. In addition to my purchases, Koy (who is just three years old!) decided he wanted a pair of Heelys. For those of you that have never heard of them, they are tennis shoes that have one wheel on the heel of each shoe. After much debate, I decided to get him the shoes. His cousin, who he looks up to and adores, has a pair and I also caught them on sale so I thought why not? And just as I figured he has spent more time on his butt then on his feet!! On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up something for dinner and Koy decide he wanted to have his picture made, so we did an unplanned photo shoot at the portrait studio. On Saturday, we took the boys to the park because it was 77 degrees!! As we were inside watching cartoons, we heard the ice cream truck coming down the street and Koy got to make his first purchase from the ice cream man! He was very excited to go out on the corner and get an ice cream that looked like SpongeBob.

I love the cowboy theme party invites. We did "cowboy cookout" for Graham's 2nd birthday. It was so much fun.
